I seriously need to get me a PC to run Dolphin so I can play games like Other M with any control scheme in HD. And you'd have more buttons to work with without using the awkward A and B on a sideways Wiimote. Then you would already be pointing at the screen for missiles- just aim and pull the trigger. I would also like to see Metroid Other M released- too bad they couldn't modify the controls to use Wiimote + Nunchuk instead if sideways Wiimote. Path of Radiance I bought on eBay for $79, complete and in like new condition. BUT, I used a "buy two get one free" coupon from PUR membership to score Fire Emblem free, and of course got 10% off the other two as a PUR member. It was $60 for Metroid Prime Trilogy, $55 for Xenoblade and $45 for Fire Emblem. Radiant Dawn I got from Gamestop back before the reprints hit and before the price got jacked way up- I had a Buffalo, NY store ship Metroid Prime Trilogy, had a St Louis, MS store ship Xenoblade Chronicles and a Waukesha, WI store ship Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn. I bought both of those games but it cost me for one of them. Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn would be an excellent choice, and if GC games ever make it then Path if Radiance would be a prime choice as well. I am unsure but I bet you will not include "The Skycrawlers: Innocent Aces" from Project Aces / Namco on that second part of the list so I would just like to remind folks that yes, there is an "Ace Combat" game on the Wii and it's utter brilliant (if you play with GameCube Pad instead of motion controls).Īs I previously stated, I own every Wii game they will probably released on the Wii U and since I still have my Wii assembled right besides my Wii U (I still play a silly amount of GameCube games on it) these releases aren't for me but I must admit, 10€ for such classics as "Mario Galaxy 2" are quite a bargain, even more so if you never played them on last gen. It and the original "Excite Truck" are two of my personal top favourites on the Wii and I would very much welcome an HD outing or the series. I was lucky enough to have a few Japanese and American imports on my (ridiculously extensive) Wii game collections and I must say It's beyond me why "Excitebots" remained a US exclusive. Thu 22nd Jan Oh hi there, familiar face from the webs!.Utterly mindless and with a space-opera story - with cut scenes that exasperated a tone we'd arguably already seen in Metroid Fusion - it can be a fun ride while it lasts. Team Ninja got carried away, too, but this is nevertheless an interesting blend of 2D / 3D / first-person action.

Not everyone likes the direction that series creator Yoshio Sakamoto followed but, heck, it's his series and he had the right to tackle it his way. Not in the same league as the finest work by Retro Studios, it is - however - entirely unique from the iconic Prime games. We can hear the grinding teeth and sense the angry comments coming, but we're going to stick by this choice as a title we'd welcome onto the eShop. Steeped in Japanese culture and developed by Clover Studios - which subsequently split from Capcom to become Platinum Games - this would be a true stand-out on the current Nintendo platform. In our dreams we'd love to see the HD version that graced systems such as PS3, along with those intuitive Wii Remote pointer controls - we'll settle for the standard definition version, however, of what is one of the most enthralling adventures of recent generations.

These are games we'd love to download from the eShop, but whether that's a practical reality is something else besides. When thinking about Wii games we want on the eShop, however, we've spread our wings further to include more third-parties. We'll see how much the North American and European line-ups match in the weeks and months to come, though a trend with these entries is that they were all developed and / or published by Nintendo - though XSEED published Pandora's Tower in North America, with the big N publishing in Europe.

Sin & Punishment: Star Successor / Successor of the Skies (coming soon / Europe).Kirby's Return to Dream Land (coming soon / Europe).Punch-Out!! (out now in North America, coming soon to Europe).Donkey Kong Country Returns (out now in Europe). The confirmed titles, below, also bring a mix of well-known favourites, one of the great gaming trilogies and a couple of excellent games that deserve to be enjoyed by a whole new audience. That aside, though, it's a promising addition to our weekly eShop updates.
